“Hammer” by Lorde
Lorde swings hard with “Hammer,” her final single before Virgin drops next week. “Some days I’m a woman, some days I’m a man,” she sings in this woozy, hot-and-heavy ode to summer lust and delirium. She continues to crack open this project’s expectations with a blunt-force chorus and a striking visual that feels feral, unguarded, and gloriously in flux.
“future” by WRABEL
WRABEL’s new single “future” clocks in as a gut-punch of clarity and emotional reckoning. Co-produced for the first time by WRABEL himself, it’s a slow-build stunner that battles shame with softness, leaving the listener eager for the next chapter in this prolific artist’s story.
“Girl of your Dreams” by Eli
Eli taps into full Y2K fantasy on “Girl of Your Dreams”—a bubblegum-pop gem with plucky production and a candy-coated chorus. Already climbing TikTok FYPs thanks to its sly one-liners and early-2000s sparkle, the track headlines a self-dubbed “tringle” release, joined by B-sides “God Bless The BFA” and “Fortunately 4 U” that cement Eli as the stage girl.
“ATTENTION!” by Kesha, Slayyyter, Rose Gray
Kesha is commanding our “Attention!” with her latest turbocharged pop banger. This slick collab with Slayyyter and Rose Gray is as fizzy and fierce as their upcoming Tits Out Tour, where all three will hit the road together across the U.S. Do we have a new “Bang Bang” on our hands? You be the judge.
“Summer Hymnal” by Fleetwood Kelly & CeCe Peniston
Fleetwood Kelly lights up Pride season with “Summer Hymnal,” a shimmering house revival featuring dance icon CeCe Peniston. The track channels ‘90s club euphoria through a queer lens that might just make it the gospel of the summer.
“Plastic Box” by JADE
JADE’s “Plastic Box” glistens with synth-pop shimmer and a curt, darting chorus that punches through the track’s thumping radio-ready production. The track is JADE’s best offering yet and adds another bit of theater to her fast-growing solo canon ahead of THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! (out Sept 12). With a sold-out tour and festival stages waiting, this era is anything but plastic.
