Bad Queers Podcast is a weekly podcast hosted by Shana Sumers and Kris Chesson for anyone who feels like they came out of the closet and then got placed in a box. With hot takes on identity, culture, and everything in between, they mix real talk with real laughs. And every week, they spotlight a term from the queer urban dictionary to keep us all fluent in the language of the community.

Check out this week’s term below, and don’t forget to download new episodes every week. Available on Patreon, YouTube, Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Kris’s Word: Abrosexual

Abrosexual. Noun.

Having different levels of sexual or romantic attractions throughout your life.

How about we take this to the next level?

Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

For example: A person who is abrosexual might be sexually attracted to men at one point, then not sexually attracted to anyone weeks later. Someone who is abrosexual may have periods of different intensities of attraction.

Shana’s Word: Service Top

Service Top. Noun.

A submissive top who applies sensation or control to a bottom, but does so at their partner’s explicit instructions.

Used in a sentence: Last night my dream came true, I hooked up with a service top and they did everything I wanted!

Help make sure LGBTQ+ stories are being told…

We can’t rely on mainstream media to tell our stories. That’s why we don’t lock Queerty articles behind a paywall. Will you support our mission with a contribution today?
