We are pleased to invite you to the Moving Pictures film launch, hosted by the National Ageing Research Institute.
Moving Pictures is an innovative multi-media project that aims to raise dementia awareness in Australia’s culturally and linguistically diverse communities. This study has been funded since 2017 by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care.
Our latest tranche of films and comics have been co-produced with people from Italian-, Greek-, Vietnamese-, and Spanish-speaking communities. These short films cover the signs and symptoms of dementia, navigating care, and the carer’s journey. The films feature the stories and lived experiences of carers of people living with dementia, and the expert views of key service providers.
