Meatable, a leader in cultivated meat technology, has announced its involvement in the 2025 edition of London Climate Action Week. As Europe’s largest climate festival, the event attracts over 45,000 attendees annually and features a broad array of participants committed to climate solutions. This is the seventh year of the festival, bringing together a range of stakeholders, including investors, businesses, and innovators focused on environmental impact.
Cultivated meat as a climate solution
During the event, Meatable will collaborate with the Blue Earth Forum, a key hub of the festival that serves as a meeting point for over 300 investors and more than 40 pioneering businesses. The Blue Earth Forum provides a platform for Meatable to present the potential of cultivated meat as part of the solution to global climate challenges. The company is focused on scaling production in a way that is both humane and environmentally sustainable, advocating for change in areas where consumer choice, food technology, and planetary health intersect.
Cohen will participate in two discussions on Thursday, June 26, at the Protein Studios in Shoreditch. The first, a roundtable discussion titled “The Future of Food, from Fringe to Favourite,” will take place at 2:00 PM, followed by a panel discussion at 3:15 PM titled “Rewriting the Recipe, Innovation and Identity in the Future of Food.”

Global showcases & partnerships
In addition to its presence at London Climate Action Week, Meatable has participated in several other high-profile events this year. The company recently showcased its cultivated meat at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, as part of the Dutch pavilion.
It also appeared at IFFA, a major food industry trade fair, where it hosted discussions on the potential of cultivated meat. Furthermore, Meatable has formed several partnerships in 2025, including one with TruMeat to build a high-volume cultivated meat production facility in Singapore. The company has also collaborated with organizations such as Food Tank, the United Nations Global Compact, and The Hunger Project.
Meatable’s participation in the event aligns with its mission to provide sustainable meat alternatives without the environmental and ethical concerns associated with traditional animal farming. The company’s Vice President of Strategy, Ollie Cohen, expressed the company’s commitment to the event, stating, “We’re honoured to contribute to this important global event that aligns so closely with our values. Our participation underscores our dedication to building a better future for generations to come.”
