I think she got a little confused, because, at the time that she came out to me, she was about to release her album. And I told her, “Listen, are you 100% sure this is how you feel? I’ll get on that parade float with you. But in the meantime, why don’t you put your music without any labels on it at all?”
“People are going to label you.” And I said, “You have to be ready for that, because it’s not going to be easy. And I will be by your side 100%.”
