I LOVE getting inspirational updates from coronary heart sufferers everywhere in the world.

This time, Richard Godbey shared a giant milestone for him after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

Richard Says…

Here’s what Richard wrote to me:

Expensive Adam, In October 2023, I had TAVR for aortic stenosis.  My interventional cardiologist was Dr. Devang Desai at St. Marys Regional Medical Heart in Reno, Nevada.

After surgical procedure and three months of cardiac rehabilitation, I continued coaching alone.

In August 2024… 9 months after TAVR… My son and I climbed Mount Whitney in East-Central California.  We climbed Mount Whitney, which has an elevation of 14,505 toes, on the finish of our mountaineering journey on the Excessive Sierra Path which – we traveled west to east – via Sequoia Nationwide Park.

For these going through a valve alternative, I would like you to know… There’s life after TAVR. And mountains to climb.
