A former well being minister has backed calls from the Australian Males’s Well being Discussion board to extend funding for males’s well being within the subsequent parliament.
In a letter responding to AMHF’s 2025 Election Platform, Dr Gillespie highlighted the necessity for the Federal Authorities to prioritise males and boys’ well being and handle the systemic gaps in Authorities funding to enhance males’s well being.

Dr Gillespie stated the Coalition had a robust file of supporting males’s well being initiatives, significantly the present Nationwide Males’s Well being Technique, which it launched in 2019.
