The 30th anniversary of the National Men’s Health Gathering takes place at the Brisbane Showgrounds this year (22-24 October 2025) and we want to make sure the very best of Australia’s men’s health sector is on show.
The Gathering is a unique event that brings together practitioners, researchers, advocates, policymakers and commissioners to focus on men and boys’ health and wellbeing.
If you’re working to improve the lives and health of men and boys in Australia – or if you are a supporter of a men’s project that you think deserves wider recognition – we want to hear from you.
To nominate a men’s health project to be showcased at the Brisbane Showgrounds as part of the National Men’s Health Gathering email us today with the subject line “Men’s Sector Showcase” to [email protected].
Alternatively, you can put yourself forward by submitting a short outline of your proposed talk (maximum 400 words) using our online abstract portal.
What do we want to Showcase?

- Connecting with men at local level in community settings
- Using digital technology to engage with men or boys
- Tackling men’s mental health and male suicide
- Dealing with the social determinants of men’s health
- Working with different populations of men (e.g. dads, older men, rural men etc)
- Working with men or boys in priority populations (e.g. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Culturally and Linguistically Divers, living with disabilities and LGBTQI+)
