A/Prof Alby Elias

About the Presenter:

Alby Elias is a clinical associate professor with the Academic Unit of Psychiatry of Old Age, the University of Melbourne. He is Director of ECT Services and a consultant psychiatrist at Western Health. His Ph.D. investigated the risk of Alzheimer’s disease in Vietnam veterans with PTD using amyloid and tau PET imaging. He received a project grant from Dementia Australia for the study he’s presenting.

About the Seminar:

A/Prof Alby Elias will discuss intermittent fasting for dementia risk reduction as part of the NARI Seminars in Ageing series 2024, presented in partnership with AUPOA, the University of Melbourne.
