That’s why the infamous adult site celebrates with an annual Pride Insights report, and this year’s features no shortage of eye-popping (and jaw-dropping) statistics.

Notably, female viewers stepped up their gay porn-watching this year. (Can you blame them?)
According to the data, male and female viewership was nearly even, with dudes making up 53% and ladies repping 47% of the audience.
Surprisingly, the most-viewed gay categories significantly shifted from last year’s report, where “Bareback” and “Twink” dominated.
According to PornHub statisticians, this shows that “tastes [in] gay content have branched out,” and we trust them with our lives. LOL.
This year, “Black” topped the United States, “Big Dick” was a favorite in Canada, most Europeans and Russia preferred “Twink,” our Aussie friends opted for “Bareback,” and, randomly, Denmark loved “Cartoon.”
That said, the tea gets even more scandalous when looking at top relative gay categories by state, a.k.a. the ones “viewed more often in each state when compared to others.”
In California, “Big Dick” prevailed, while Arizonans loved “Mature,” Colorado and Oregon perused “Straight Guys,” New York couldn’t get enough of “Bareback,” Wisconsin dived into “Chubby,” and Minnesota was all about “Bear.”
Interestingly enough, some states loved their steamy clips a lot more than others; North Dakota, Vermont, and Rhode Island were all over 30% more likely to watch gay porn than their neighbors.
Naturally, as self-appointed critics of pop culture, the gays preferred some performers over others.
The overwhelming favorite was bulging Canadian hunk Malik Delgaty, followed by Joey Mills, Foxy Alex, Tyler Wu, and Rhyheim Shabazz.
That said, the age demographics mostly fell in line with last year’s report.
Per the data, 18 to 24-year-olds accounted for 27% of all views, followed by 25 to 34 (20%), 35 to 44 (15%), 45 to 54 (14%), 55 to 64 (13%) and 65 years and up at 11%.
Perhaps highlighting the generational divide was the different categories each age group preferred.
For 18 to 24-year-olds, it was all about “Cartoon,” though the 25 to 34 range opted for “Cumshot.”
On the other hand, 35 to 44-year-olds dug the classic “Big Dick,” the 45 to 54 group liked “Latino,” 55 to 64 wanted “Massage,” and 65 and up turned to “Blowjob.”

Of course, we’d be negligent if we didn’t acknowledge some, erm, holes in the reporting.
Thanks to restrictive age-verification laws across the United States, PornHub is blocked in 17 states, including Texas, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, and Indiana. Boo!
Therefore, these numbers include any representation from those locations.
