Researchers on the Nationwide Ageing Analysis Institute (NARI) are designing and evaluating a Large Open On-line Course (MOOC) to assist carers of individuals residing with dementia and continence care wants.

The mission, Dignity in continence care in individuals with dementia and incontinence: Translating rules that defend dignity, is funded by the Dementia Centre for Analysis Collaboration via the Queensland College of Know-how. The MOOC will promote continence care that makes individuals really feel secure, revered and dignified, and can assist carers. 

To make sure the MOOC is fit-for-purpose, the researchers are looking for enter from individuals residing with dementia and continence care wants, in addition to household carers and formal carers in residential aged care houses. As soon as the MOOC is designed, the analysis crew will consider it  to find out its appropriateness and effectiveness.
